World Coldest Desert - introduction
There are many land features on the earth like Mountains, Plateau, Hills, Desert etc. So Desert is an arid area which is received less than 10 inches rain. SO here is the introduction of the world cool or cold desert . Namib Desert: Namib a cool coastal desert and it is spreading for 1,900 km on the Atlantic coast of Africa . It is spreading inland from 130 to 160 km from the bottom of the Great Escarpment. The southern part unifies with the Kalahari with the plateau atop the escarpment. Its name comes from the Nama language meaning “an area where there is nothing.” Atacama Desert: The Atacama Desert the Spanish meaning Desierto de Atacama means the cool, arid area in northern Chile, 1,000 to 1,100 km from north to south.
