World Coldest Desert - introduction

There are many land features on the earth like Mountains, Plateau, Hills, Desert etc. 
So Desert is an arid area which is received less than 10 inches rain. SO here is the introduction of the world cool or cold desert.

Namib Desert:

Namib a cool coastal desert and it is spreading for 1,900 km on the Atlantic coast of Africa. It is spreading inland from 130 to 160 km from the bottom of the Great Escarpment. The southern part unifies with the Kalahari with the plateau atop the escarpment. Its name comes from the Nama language meaning “an area where there is nothing.”

Atacama Desert:

The Atacama Desert the Spanish meaning Desierto de Atacama means the cool, arid area in northern Chile, 1,000 to 1,100 km from north to south. Its boundaries are not exactly resolute, but it lies mainly between the south turn of the Loa River and the mountains abstracted the Salado-Copiapó drainage basinful. To the north, the desert continues to the border of Peru.

Gobi Desert:

The Gobi is a big desert area in northern China and southern Mongolia. The desert plains are bounded to the Altai mountains, grasslands and most important steppes of Mongolia on the north, from the Tibetan Plateau to the southwest, and through North China basin to the southwest. The word Gobi meaning is "desert" in Mongolian. The Gobi is created by several well-defined ecological and geographic regions, founded on the random variable in climate and also topography.

The Gobi is most noteworthy in the history to a part of the great Mongol Empire, and also as the location of several important urban centres with the Silk Road.

Antarctic Desert.:

The world largest deserts are in the polar areas. The Antarctic Polar Desert covering the continent of Antarctica and has a size maximum 5.5 million square miles. The second-largest desert is the Arctic Polar Desert. It spreads over the parts of Alaska, Canada, Greenland, Iceland, Norway, Sweden, Finland, and also Russia. It has a maximum the surface area of about 5.4 million square miles.
