Namib Desert:
Namib a cool coastal desert and it is spreading for 1,900 km on the Atlantic coast of Africa. It is spreading inland from 130 to 160 km from the bottom of the Great Escarpment. The southern part unifies with the Kalahari with the plateau atop the escarpment. Its name comes from the Nama language meaning “an area where there is nothing.”
Atacama Desert:
The Atacama Desert the Spanish meaning Desierto de Atacama means the cool, arid area in northern Chile, 1,000 to 1,100 km from north to south. Its boundaries are not exactly resolute, but it lies mainly between the south turn of the Loa River and the mountains abstracted the Salado-Copiapó drainage basinful. To the north, the desert continues to the border of Peru.
Gobi Desert:

Antarctic Desert.:

The second-largest desert is the Arctic Polar Desert. It spreads over the parts of Alaska, Canada, Greenland, Iceland, Norway, Sweden, Finland, and also Russia. It has a maximum the surface area of about 5.4 million square miles.
